Wilma (Lauer) Werth, 91, passed away December 31, 2014, in St Paul MN.
A Celebration of Wilma's life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo ND, at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Wilma was born January 8, 1923, on a farm east of Eldorado IA. She met the love of her life, Richard Werth, in college, and they were married on June 2, 1943. She returned to school at Concordia College, Moorhead MN, where she majored in business education and minored in library science. Wilma graduated in 1966. She worked at Concordia College for 18 years. She lived in Moorhead about 60 years.
Wilma loved square dancing, choir and circle friends from church, crafts and her family.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Werth (Karen); and grandsons Danya and Anton, all of Minneapolis MN.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1993.
Memorials are preferred to Richard G. Werth Lectureship in Chemistry at Concordia College.
