Fargo

Vincent Leroy Lacroix, age 65, of Fargo, ND, "Vince" passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Vibra Hospital in Fargo.

Graveside services are being planned for Vince.

Vincent Leroy Lacroix was born on September 10, 1960, to Leroy Lacroix and Marie Lohnes in Moorhead, MN. He grew up in a foster home in Tracy, MN and when he turned 18 years old this is where he would meet his sisters, Linda and Brenda LaCroix, and a brother James LaCroix. He moved with them to Moorhead to be near them and establish relationships which would become meaningful.

After moving to Fargo, he would meet Dawn Gosling and they would begin their relationship. For 19 years they were together before tying the knot and getting married in 1997. They would live in Fargo for some time, then moved to Shakopee, MN where they lived for 8 years. Vince would drive delivery truck, delivering mill work for ABC Millwork, Minneapolis.

Vince and Dawn would move back to the Fargo area and he would deliver lumber for Stenerson Lumber, Moorhead, and his last employment was with Waste Management.

Vince loved woodworking and being hands on. He built some beautiful coffee tables, lamps, and even a new deck onto his house. Vince’s early life struggles took him from his home and family for 3 years, and he reunited with them in 2026, after he took a fall in December 2025, and injured his neck, leaving him with paralysis and under hospital and nursing home care. Vince passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Vibra Hospital in Fargo.

He is survived by his ex-wife Dawn Lacroix, step son Elijah Gosling (that he thought of as his own), and four grandchildren, Jordan, Madison, Dominic, and Logan, sister Brenda LaCroix, Robert and David Finstead, and Timothy LaCroix, and several nieces and nephews.
