Thomas M. Perez, age 74, of Moorhead, MN, died Friday, January 8, 2021.

Thomas Michael Perez was born in Fargo, ND, on March 12, 1946, to Thomas Marcus and Phyllis Mae (Anderson) Perez. He grew up and received his education in Fargo, where he graduated from Shanley High School in 1964. He continued his education at NDSU from 1964 to 1967.

Tom served his country in the US Navy from 1967 until 1970, in Vietnam. Upon his discharge he attended and graduated from Moorhead Technical Institute.

On August 8, 1970, Tom was united in marriage to Sharon Davis in Fargo. They lived in Fargo for a short period of time, and then moved to Moorhead, where they had lived since.

For 35 years, Tom worked at O'Day Equipment in Fargo. He retired in 2008, as their Parts Manager. He loved golfing, fishing, farming, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon, Moorhead; children, Christopher (Kristi) Perez and Missy (Ryan) Forde, both of Moorhead; grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, Elizabeth, Mya, Hadley and Piper; great-grandson, Joshua; a sister, Sharlene (Jim) Wolf; a brother, Rick (Trish) Perez; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jeffery and Robert.

Visitation for Tom will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021, from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. His funeral mass will be Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 11 AM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead. He will be buried in Fargo National Cemetery with full military honors.
