Terence "Terry" W. Erickson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Terence “Terry” W. Erickson, a loving and devoted husband and father. After a two-year battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully at his home June 5th, 2026.

Born on October 29, 1949, in Moorhead, MN, Terry lived a full and meaningful life marked with kindness, generosity and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He served his country with honor and carried that same spirit of service into every aspect of his life.

He had a heart of gold and was always just a phone call away. He was known to many as the life of the party and loved to travel, ride his Harley Davidson, boat, listen to live music, cheer on the Vikings, and hang out or play Yahtzee and cards with family and friends.

Terry will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he gave so freely and the light he brought to the lives around him. His legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love will be carried on by those who knew and adored him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mildred Erickson; brother, Jered Erickson; grandparents and sister-in-law, Peggy Erickson.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger; daughter; Billie Jo (Brad) Smith; sons, Ryan Erickson, and Larry (Denise) Geffre; eight grandchildren; sisters, Sheryl (Mike) Altepeter, Kim (Dan) Wikoff; brother, Brad Erickson as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Terry’s life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations to be made in his honor to HIA Hospice or Roger Maris Cancer Center.
