Ruby Jean Martin was born May 8, 1934, in Browerville, MN, to Gustav and Frances (Hansman) Martin.
Ruby married Reuben Lattimore April 2, 1955, in Long Prairie, MN, and they moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1958. She worked for Civil Service for a time and later for the railroad.
Reuben died February 22, 1993, and Ruby continued to make her home in Moorhead. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead.
Ruby died peacefully, under hospice and Comfort Keeper's care, at her home on Monday, April 27, 2020, at eighty-five years of age.
She is survived by her three children, Ronald, Richard, and Cindy; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley, Comfort Keepers, Heartland Trust Company; and Lutheran Social Services, for their care for Ruby.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020, at 2 PM, in Moorhead Memorial Gardens. Please observe social distancing restrictions for everyone's safety and health.
