Rose C. Bjordahl

Rose C. Bjordahl, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026, at SMP Health - Maryhill in Enderlin, ND.

Rose Clara Wyland was born on February 3, 1943, in Grand Forks, to Addison and Mabel (St. Martin) Wyland. During her early years, her family relocated to Moorhead, MN, where she attended St. Joseph's Catholic School. Addison and Mabel divorced and Rose was later adopted by Mabel’s husband, Roy Powers. Rose completed her education at Shanley High School in Fargo, ND, graduating in 1961.

Following high school, Rose was united in marriage to Oscar E. Bjordahl, Jr. Together, they raised three children: Lisa, Teresa, and Troy. Rose dedicated part of her career to retail, working at Sears and later at Norby’s Department Store in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Rose found great joy in spending summers at their lake home on Bijou Lake near Lake Park, and winters at their residence in Peoria, Arizona. She deeply loved the holiday seasons, especially Christmas, and took pleasure in activities such as canning, knitting, gardening, and reading.

Rose will be remembered and missed by her two daughters, Lisa (Calvin) Stoffel and Teresa Davidson, and one son, Troy (Renee) Bjordahl; three grandchildren, Amy Davidson, Dane Watne and Haley Morales; four great - grandchildren; and her little dog, “Lily”.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Jr. (2012); and one grandson, Dylan Davidson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2pm in Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. Interment will be in Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead, MN.
