Robert Earl Lee was born January 9, 1957, to Alfred and Josephine (Holmquist) Lee, in Fergus Falls, MN. Robert was raised in Fergus Falls where he graduated from high school in 1975.
On April 21, 1979, Robert was united in marriage to Barbara Kappes, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in Fargo, ND. Robert worked for more than twenty-five years at the Fryn' Pan Restaurant in Moorhead. He also worked as an agent for Primerica Financial Services since 2003.
Robert died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, at fifty-one years of age.
Robert was a dedicated father and grandfather, always there for his children and family. His children were involved in numerous activities and Robert could always be counted upon to make sure they got to where they needed to be. He was always there to help them with any problems they might have had as well. Robert was a good cook, loved the History and Sci-Fi channels, enjoyed reading, and was quick to help anyone that may have had problems with their computers or schoolwork.
Robert is lovingly survived by his wife of over twenty-nine years, Barbara; three sons, Thomas (fiancée, Denise Howland) Lee, Fargo, Benjamin (Kylee) Lee, Rosamond, CA, and Christopher Lee, Hollywood, CA; one grandson, Camden Lee; two sisters, Linda (Nath
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Josephine; an infant sister; a nephew, Corey Eide; and his father-in-law, Edward Kappes.
Visitation for Robert will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008, from 5 - 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
His funeral will be Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at 2 PM, in Grace United Methodist Church, Moorhead.
