Robert M. Bernard

Robert M. Bernard, 64, of Fargo, ND, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in Sanford Health West Campus, Fargo.

Robert Maurice Bernard was born March 18, 1961, the son of Roger and Simone (Beaupre) Bernard in Fall River, MA. He was raised and educated in Fall River, MA and graduated from BMC Durfee High School in Fall River. Upon graduation, Robert joined and served in the U.S. Army.

After his discharge from the Army, Robert lived in Rhode Island. He would later settle in Fargo, ND, where he would work in manufacturing.

In his spare time Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and his cat.  Robert was also a skilled chef.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Suzanne (Ralph) Santoro; brother, Ronald (Linda) Bernard; nieces, Jennifer, Giuliana, and Alessandra; nephews, Jason, Daniel and Brendan; two great-nieces and two great-nephews; his former spouse, Kristen; Kristen’s children, Brett, Molly and Cole; and very dear friend, Lilyann Gronewold.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert was a wonderful person with a huge heart. He was the first to help anyone. He was an amazing dad and husband and will be greatly missed by everyone who’s life he touched – especially his family.

Services for Robert will be held in Fall River, and he will be laid to rest with his parents in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Fall River.
