Priscilla K. Stroh

Priscilla Katherine (Pudwill) Stroh passed away the morning of April 2, 2022, due to complications of pneumonia surrounded in love by family.
Priscilla was born in Bismarck ND on December 22, 1937. She was the daughter of Paul J. Pudwill and Florence (Brinkman) Pudwill. She grew up and attended school in Danzig and Wishek ND.
She was united in marriage to Norman O. Stroh on October 20, 1956, at Wishek Lutheran Church. Born from this union were four children: Paul, Ronald, Miranda, and Kevin. Norman passed away April 16, 2000, and Priscilla lived independently in the family home until December 2021. In January of 2022, she entered the Beehive Assisted Living facility after a short illness and quickly became a beloved resident.
Priscilla loved caring for others and was drawn to nursing as a career. She graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1980 and Minnesota State University in 1991.
Priscilla retired from the VA hospital in Fargo after more than 20 years. Never one to sit still, she worked part-time at various health care locations including PRACs and Comfort Keepers after her retirement.
She was instrumental in creating several of the family genealogy books. She loved cooking and baking so much so that she helped put together a family cookbook. Priscilla enjoyed embroidery, sewing, reading, and gardening.
Priscilla is survived by sons, Paul Stroh of Carrollton, TX, Ron (Colleen) Stroh of Moorhead, MN and Kevin Stroh of Wyndmere, ND; daughter Miranda Stroh of Bellingham, WA; grandchildren Kiara Stroh, Skyler Stroh, and Alek Stroh; sister-in-law, Elda Vera Deyle; and many nieces and nephews.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband Norman; parents Paul and Florence Pudwill; brothers-in-law, Leroy Stroh, Lawrence Stroh, August Brinkman and Edwin Deyle, sisters-in-law, Delphine Taylor, Lavina Stroh and Ramona Brinkman; nephew, Rusty Stroh; and niece, Tammy Stroh.
A Visitation for Priscilla will begin at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 8, 2022, followed by her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial will take place in Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek, ND.
