Patricia M. Lackmann

Patricia “Pat” (Radermacher) Lackmann, 91, of Moorhead, MN, passed away peacefully on July 2nd in Northfield, MN.

Pat was born in 1934 in West Union, MN to Albert and Rose Radermacher. She grew up on the family farm there, graduating from Sauk Centre High School in 1952. Pat then attended Valley City State College, earning a degree in elementary education and taught in both Moorhead and Robbinsdale, MN.

Pat married Roland Lackmann in August 1959. They settled in Moorhead and there raised their four children. Pat loved kids and enjoyed many years volunteering in the F-M community. She was creative and loved spending time in artistic pursuits. She was an avid reader and loved traveling. Her favorite times were those spent traveling across the U.S. and Canada with her family, and on many camping adventures they had closer to home, often with family friends.

During their retirement years, Pat and Rollie enjoyed spending winters in the Texas Hill Country and loved to be with their kids and grandkids. Pat will be remembered for her big smile, her kind heart, and her willingness to always go along for the ride.

Pat is survived by her children Keith (Lou), Ken, Teresa (Doug) Morris, Mary (Eric) Poole; her grandchildren Matt, Melissa (Cam), Hannah, Grace (Will), Erin, Lucia, Malcolm, Miles, Gwen, Madeline, and Westley; her sister Kathi Herzog and brother Tom Radermacher, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Rose, husband, Roland; and by siblings Nan, Ronnie, and JoAnn.

A Visitation for Patricia will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead.

She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
