Norma Jean (Moffatt) Feay passed away onto eternal life on Friday, August 8, 2025. She was cared for by many loving family members and caregivers.
Norma grew up a proud Scottish farm girl who always lived the values of her Christian home and community. She went to Valley City Teacher’s College and taught for a time in a one room schoolhouse. Later, she went into the banking world where she was very successful, starting as a teller and working her way up to manager.
Norma married Donald Feay, a dashing Marine, in 1944, and they had three children together. At the time of her passing, she boasted of having five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Other than her family, Norma’s great love and passion was for books and reading. She maintained a very well stocked library of classic mystery authors, particularly the great Dame Agatha. She read voraciously even to the very end of her life.
Norma gave to a number of charitable organizations. She was generous, good tempered and kind to all.
Interment for Norma and Donald will be Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND. Military honors will be done for Donald, provided by the Marine Corp and the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard, Rifle Squad.
