Marvel W. Sheppard

Marvel Wayne Sheppard was born October 23, 1970, to Keith Sheppard and Kathy Olson, in Moorhead, MN, where he was raised.

He enjoyed fishing, hiking in Colorado, camping, and racing. He had his daughters handprints, as a baby, on the side of his race car. Marvel loved feeding his pet squirrels, which became his friends, from his patio. He loved dogs, and had a liking for cactus and blue forget-me-not flowers. The thing he was most proud of in his life was his daughter and grandchildren.

Marvel worked a number of jobs over the years, but his favorites were Federal Beef in West Fargo, ND, and seasonal work on the fishing boats off the coast of Alaska.

Marvel died Friday, June 7, 2019, in Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, at forty-eight years of age.

Marvel is survived by his daughter, Ashley, and her three boys, Austyn, Carter, and Brantley; his mother, Kathy (Wayne); father, Keith; brothers, Archie and Matthew (Sarah); sister, Kandyse; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy;" four grandparents; and four uncles.

Visitation will begin at 1 PM, with a funeral at 2 PM, Friday, June 14, 2019, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
