Lorraine M. Mitchell, 67, Wahpeton, ND, died Wednesday, October 30 at St. Catherine's Living Center in Wahpeton.
Lorraine was born June 14, 1952 in Moorhead, MN to Albert and Gaudentia (Schmeising) Mitchell. She was raised in Dilworth, MN graduating from Dilworth High School in 1970. Lorraine furthered her education at Moorhead Technical College earning a degree in Bookkeeping. Soon after college, Lorraine's health issues prevented her from pursing her career. Lorraine resided in various communities throughout her life. She enjoyed getting together with families during the holidays, playing cards and needlework.
Lorraine will be remembered and missed by her two brothers: Arnold Mitchell of Fargo, Ralph (Wanda) Mitchell of Fargo, two sisters: Irene (Jay) Allrich of Glyndon, MN and Marie Mitchell of Halstad, MN. In addition she is survived by two nephews and three nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert and Alfred.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 5 at 11AM in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Dilworth. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be made in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Lake Park, MN.
