Linda L. Anderson, 74, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Sanford Broadway Campus, Fargo, ND

Linda Lou Mortenson was born August 10, 1951, the daughter of Norman and Elvina (Bjerkebeck) Mortenson in Fergus Falls, MN. She was raised in Fergus Falls and moved with her family to Perham in 1967, where she graduated from Perham High School in 1969. Following her high school graduation, Linda moved to Fargo where she attended Dakota Business College.

On March 7, 1970, Linda was united in marriage to David Anderson in Bethlehem Church, Fergus Falls. The couple initially lived in Fargo before establishing their home in Moorhead. Linda began her professional journey as a waitress before becoming Certified Nursing Assistant at Eventide in Moorhead. Her career at Eventide spanned thirty-six years. During which she transitioned into the role of Trained Medication Aide before her retirement.

In her leisure time Linda found joy in bowling, cross stitching and puzzles. She enjoyed hockey games, particularly when her son was playing. Christmas was her favorite holiday, a time she cherished spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, David, Moorhead, MN; children, Christopher (Christine) Anderson, Hastings, MN and Lisa Karlstad, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Sean Anderson, Emily Jo Karlstad, Scott David Karlstad, Christpher Anderson, Jr., Riley Anderson and additional grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; sister, Violet (Mitch) Davis, Shevlin, MN; brothers, Norman “Sonny” (Norma) Mortenson, Jr., Sparta, WI, Steve (Karen) Mortenson, Faribault, MN, Jeff Mortenson, San Antonio, TX, Jerry Mortenson, Fergus Falls, MN and Dean Mortenson, of Horicon, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Larry.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Linda will begin at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, followed by a Celebration of Her Life at 1:00 PM at Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.
