Kenneth Eugene Beto, age 72, of Cushing, MN, passed away on March 9, 2026, after courageously battling long-term health issues while surrounded by his family under hospice care.

Born on July 10, 1953, in Little Falls, MN, Kenneth graduated from Little Falls High School in 1971. He married JoAnn Headley in 1974, and together they moved to the Twin Cities, where they welcomed four children. In the late 1980s, they relocated to the Lincoln Lakes area, where they resided for many years.

Kenny had a passion for various competitive recreational sports, including darts, trap shooting, pool, and bowling. He dedicated time to his community as a volunteer member of the Scandia Valley Fire Department and First Response Team. In addition to his love for sports, he enjoyed working on his 1968 Firebird, watching car shows, playing horseshoes and croquet, engaging in family games, and sharing captivating stories.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn; his children, Chad Beto of Little Falls, MN, Jamie (Jason) Meidinger of Turtle Lake, ND, Marie (Ryan) Fisher of Wellington, NZ, and Matt (Stacy) Beto of Cushing, MN. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Samantha Beto, Alexandra Beto, Jameson Meidinger, Joss Meidinger, and Jace Meidinger, Emma Fisher and Hanna Fisher, as well as Dylan (Jacynda) Beto, Brooke Beto, and Madalynn Beto; his great-grandchild, Athena Beto; and a sister, Cheryl (Dave) Umphreys of Little Falls, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Scandia Valley Town Hall on Saturday, March 14th, from 1PM - 5 PM. The family invites all who knew Kenneth to join them in honoring his memory.
