Justine "Tina" Rein

Justine A. "Tina" Rein, 81, West Fargo, ND, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Justine Ann Kampa was born July 18, 1940, in St. Cloud, MN, to William and Anna (Winkleman) Kampa, the youngest of nine children. She grew up on a farm near Foley, MN, and graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1958. Tina continued her education at St. Cloud School of Nursing, earning her RN degree in 1961. Tina was an RN at St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead and later St. Lukes in Fargo.

On October 14, 1966, Tina was united in marriage to Mike Rein in Moorhead. They welcomed five children, Rick, Barbara, Pat, Terri and Michael. They spent summers at their lake cabin on Little Cormorant Lake and winters in Texas for over 20 years. Mike passed away March 8, 2020.

Tina was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moorhead for many years. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers and cherished friendships made throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, occasional trips to the casino and watching sports. Tina loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their activities of sports, music and church.

Tina will be remembered and missed by her children, Pat (Dan) Geraghty, Terri (Kirk) Rueb and Michael Rein; eight grandchildren, Zach (Julia) Humason, Tony (Alyssa) Geraghty, Jess (Dave) Elliott, Michael Rueb, Matthew Rueb, Rachel Rueb, Theresa Rein and Cole Rein; nine great-grandchildren, Kadence, Zaida, Shyloh, Kyenna, Sidney, Sienna, Parker, Asher and Avery; two brothers and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mike; son, Rick; and daughter, Barbara; daughter-in-law, Sharon; along with three sisters and one brother.

Memorials can be made in Tina's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Visitation for Tina will be Monday, November 29, 2021, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel from 5pm-7pm, with a Prayer Service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 10am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead.
