Joseph J. Anderson, 36, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026, in Breckenridge, MN.

Joseph John Anderson was born on February 17, 1989, in Minneapolis, MN, to his mother Linda Anderson. Joseph came into this world kicking and screaming like most children do, but Joe never stopped kicking and screaming throughout his life. He would kick and scream when he was mad but also when he was being mischievous or playful. Joe graduated high school and then as life happens, he was given the gift of two beautiful children, his son, Zayden and daughter, Miracle.

Joe enjoyed many things in life. He loved riding 4 wheelers and watching wrestling. At times he would try to wrestle with family in a playful way. He liked working for, Dan, but most of all he loved cooking. He worked for several restaurants, including the IHOP and Denny’s in Fargo, ND. His latest job was as a cook at Fryin’ Pan in Wahpeton, ND. Joe loved to torment his sister, Liz, but then would turn around and show his love to her by bringing her food he made at his job.

Joe was loved by many and well be greatly missed.

Joe is survived by his children, Zayden and Miracle; mother, Linda Olson; godfather, Jerome Olson; sisters, Elizabeth Olson, Patricia Baez; brother, Joshua Olson; aunts Pat and Joann; uncles, Joe and Pauly; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family gathering will be held.
