Jose L. Zamora

Jose L. Zamora, 1, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Jose Lazarus Zamora was born on September 15, 2023, to Valerie Zamora, in Fargo. Being the youngest, he was always looking up to his big sister, Serenity and big brother, Donovan. Seeking out his brother was the first thing he did every morning. He was just always excited to spend time with his siblings.

Jose really enjoyed listening to music. He was always dancing to his tunes and singing his favorite songs like “Old McDonald” and “Baby Shark.” He would hold his mom’s phone to his ear and dance to everything it played. He also loved his snacks. His favorites were jello, mandarin oranges, pizza, and Grandma Minerva’s beans and rice.

Jose was born with a smile on his face, that he never lost. He was full of contagious love and joy. You couldn’t have a bad day when you were with him. Jose will be deeply missed by his family.

Jose is survived by his mother, Valerie (Dennis) Zamora; big sister, Serenity; big brother, Donovan; grandparents, Minerva Morin and Renato Yanez; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Monica; grandfathers, Sabastian “Sabas” and Daniel.
