John R. Hager, 56, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in his Moorhead home.
John "Babe" Roy Hager, son of John and Emma (Grossman) Hager, was born November 19, 1947, in Devils Lake, ND. He grew up and received his education in Minnewaukan, ND. John worked several years as a steel worker at Marvel Steel Factory, Jamestown, ND, as a logger in Montana, and then later worked at Sioux Manufacturing, Devils Lake.
John is survived by three daughters; DellaRay Patience Hager, Barbara Ann Hager, and Crystal Wilkie, all of Moorhead;
one son, Jessie Cavanaugh; two brothers, Gene (Bernadine), Minnewaukan, and Don (Julie) Hager, Wichita, KS; six sisters, Carol (Dennis) McGuire, Pillsbury, ND, Elizabeth Stensby, New Rockford, ND, Helen (George) Bragg, Medford, OR, Irene Olson, San Antonio, TX, Kathryn (Raymond) Nelson, Devils Lake, and Dorothy Parrish, Devils Lake; and one grandchild. John was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother.
