Jason L. Ebel, 44, of Minneapolis, MN, died March 21, 2021, in Minneapolis.
Jason Lynn Ebel was born December 30, 1976, at Dakota Hospital in Fargo, ND, the son of Lynn and Diane Ebel. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, MN, and as a child loved participating in hockey, football, and karate. He also enjoyed skateboarding, biking, rollerblading, making home videos, building his fort-house, and hanging out with his friends. Jason worked for Teleforce Marketing for 17 years and later moved to Minneapolis to work with his brother, Dale Ebel, and nephew, Justin Ebel.
Jason had a big heart and was a devoted caregiver to his fiancée, Heidi. He loved his family, friends, and his mom's pudding dessert.
Jason is survived by his mother, Dianne and stepfather, Duane Gilbertson; brothers, Dale (Linnae), Zimmerman, MN, Keith (Sue), Silverdale, WA, and Craig (Patty), Winthrop Harbour, IL; sisters, Cindy (Vern Olson), Brookings, SD, Lanette (Greg Barnes), Supply, NC, and Jodi (Steve Nesheim), Sioux Falls, SD; stepbrother, Jeff Gilbertson (Dawn), Moorhead, MN; stepsisters, Joddie Gilbertson, Ada, MN, and Tricia (Dave Gibbons), Holmen, WI.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lynn Ebel; sister, Tammy Annis; brother, Jeff Ebel; stepbrother, Tim Gilbertson; stepsister, Vicky Peck; grandparents, Rosine Bredow, and Charles and Erna Ebel; and his fiancée, Heidi Warriner.
A Gathering of Friends for Jason will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 24, 2021, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead. His Life Celebration will continue with a Reception at the Community Center in Glyndon, MN, following the services in the church. Social distancing and masks will be required for both venues.
Honorary Urn Bearers will be Alan Ochocki, Blake Hanson, Justin Boen, and Justin Ebel.
