Irvin Leach

Irvin Ellsworth Leach 92, Glyndon, MN, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

Irvin, the son of Arthur and Christie (Lebeda) Leach was born May 19, 1928, in Elkton Township, near Glyndon, where he grew up and received his education. Irvin worked on the family farm until he married Delores Lass on June 26, 1946, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin, MN.

Irvin was owner and operator of Leach Trucking until he retired in 1995. He also enjoyed restoring cars and trucks and spending time at his shop. He will be remembered for his ability to fix anything and his willingness to help anyone.

Irvin is survived by sons, Larry and Steven; daughters, Jeanne (Wayne) Curry, and Jodi (Rick Anderson) Leach; grandchildren, Larry Leach and Lana (William) Snyder; siblings, Mavis Wang, Denis (Irene) Leach, Diane Pickett, Ardelle (Harold) Brandt, Larroll (Carol) Leach, Doreen (Ron) Wang, Darwin (Marlys) Leach, Bonnie Leach, and Curt (Kris) Leach; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores; son, Timothy; and siblings, Verne, Duane, Donovan, Elthea and Rickie.

Visitation for Irvin will begin a 11 AM, with a memorial service at 1 PM, Thursday, October 29, 2020, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sabin.

Current CDC guidelines regarding masks and social distancing will be observed.
