Guillermo Flores Jr.

Guillermo “Willie” Flores Jr. was born February 5, 1960, in Carrizo Springs, TX, to Guillermo Sr. and Francisca (Duran) Flores.  Willie was raised in Crystal City, TX, where he graduated from high school.

He was married to Socorro Martinez and they lived in Crystal City until their divorce.  Willie moved to the Moorhead, MN, area where he worked for many farmers in the Dilworth and Glyndon, Minnesota area. He eventually moved to Fargo, ND.

Willie entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Essentia Health, Fargo, at sixty-three years of age.

Willie is survived by his children, Geraldine (Charlie) Castillo, Guillermo Flores III, Genevieve Flores, Gavin (Yliana) Flores, Gina (Jonathan) Sanchez, and Gene Flores;  father, Guillermo Flores Sr.; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Grace (Dale) Houska, Ricardo Flores, Irma Jimenez, Norma Flores, Kristela (Jesse) Martinez, and Larissa (Anthony) Chaney.

There will be a Gathering of Friends Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 12 PM to 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service.
