Gerhardt "Andy" Anderson, 87, Moorhead, MN, died Oct 8th, 2020, in Sanford on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

Gerhardt Orline Anderson was born September 13, 1933, in Galesburg, ND, to Herman and Lena (Rustad) Anderson. He grew up and attended school in Galesburg.

On November 3rd, 1956, he was united in marriage to Audrey Cook in Baker, MN. They established their first home in Baker before moving to Downer, MN. During a frigid 1994 January, they moved to Moorhead, MN. Gerhardt worked for Fargo Linoleum for 48 years. He was an exceptional carpenter and enjoyed working with his wife on their many projects. He took satisfaction in being busy and always sought out tasks to stay that way. His grandchildren remember him often saying, "I'm just so 'bizzy'."

They were blessed with five children: Sherry (Larry) Lammers, Moorhead, MN; Julie (Don) McLaughlin, AZ; Janet (Mike) Tupa, Fargo, ND; Gary (Sandy) Anderson, Saint Cloud, MN; Joel (Dawn) Anderson, Barnesville, MN; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey, his son Gary; his parents; two sisters; one brother; infant twins and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation for Gerhardt will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN, on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 12pm- 1:30pm. Masks and social distancing will be required at the church. A private family service will be held at 2pm and livestreamed on Gerhardt's obituary page at www.korsmofuneralservice.com. Interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
