Felicien Kasensa Kadiata Lota

Felicien Lota, age 67, of Moorhead, Minnesota, died on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Sanford Broadway Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Family and friend prayers will be said at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Korsmo Funeral Service. The graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Riverside Cemetery in Fargo, North Dakota.

He grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In his 30’s, he escaped as a refugee during war time. He lived in Brazil for quite some time, before coming to the United States of America in the early 1990’s. He lived in a few places around the USA including Spokane, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and Rochester, Duluth, and Moorhead, MN.

He is survived by extended family who lives in the Congo, and a dear friend in the USA Dixon Aguabar.
