Earlyce E. Pladson

January 12, 1932 — September 7, 2022

Earlyce Elaine (Fedje) Pladson was born January 12, 1932, at Deaconess Hospital in Grafton, ND Edwin and Lily (Travers) Fedje. She lived with her family on the farm in Dundee Township, two miles west of Hoople, ND. She graduated from Hoople High School in 1949.


Earlyce married Lloyd Pladson (son of "O.B." Ostinus and Clara (Sondreaal) Pladson of Hatton, ND) on May 25, 1952. They lived in Fargo, ND, for five years until they moved to Moorhead, MN, where they resided until 1992. Earlyce worked as office manager for Barrett Mobile Home Transport Inc. for over 30 years. She was an active member of The Lutheran Church of Christ the King in Moorhead, and then at Faith Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, MN. After retirement, she and Lloyd lived in Fargo, Peoria, AZ, and Pelican Rapids.


Earlyce passed away on September 7, 2022, at Pelican Valley Health Center, Pelican Rapids, MN, at ninety years of age.


Earlyce and Lloyd have four children, Lonna (Dennis) Theede, Jeffrey (Lisabeth), Gregrey (Catrin), and Joel (Linda); fourteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren (with two more on the way). She is also survived by her sister, Joyce (LaVoy) Olson.


She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; brother Lyle Fedje; sister Geraldine Grommesh; and grandson, Craig Theede.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead, or Faith Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids.


The Celebration of Life for Earlyce will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 17, 2022, in Faith Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids, MN, with a Gathering for Family and Friends one hour prior to her Celebration.


Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Moorhead.
