Collin T. Wahl

Collin T. Wahl, 87, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at SMP Health - St. Catherine's North.

Born on October 14, 1938, in Ashley, ND, Collin Theodore Wahl was the youngest of three triplets to Theodore and Christine (Dauchendorf) Wahl. Growing up in Ashley, he developed a deep passion for music at an early age, becoming a skilled accordion player who would later share his love for music with others. As a young man, Collin moved to Fargo, met Ruth and then went to work in the laundry department at St. Luke's Hospital.

His life took a joyful turn on July 4, 1964, when he married Ruth E. Borseth in Watertown, SD. Together, they shared over 30 wonderful years until Ruth's passing in 1994. In 1998, Collin found love again with Lois Kurtz, and they were happily married until her passing in 2004.

Both Collin and Ruth were gifted musicians who enjoyed performing together in local venues across a tri-state area. Their bond was strengthened by their shared love of music, as well as their playful collaboration, often seen by Ruth repairing Collin's accordion and vice versa. Despite their age difference, their love was profound, and they complemented each other beautifully. Now, they are reunited in Heaven, continuing their musical journey together.

Apart from music, Collin had a passion for tinkering with cars and always enjoyed classic car shows. He cherished the experiences of traveling to visit family, friends, and extended relatives, creating lasting memories along the way.

Collin will be remembered and missed by two stepdaughters, Barbara Olson and Phyllis (David) Brandt; two brothers, Claude (Darlene) Wahl and Carrold (Luella) Wahl; one sister, Marie (Jimmy) Delzer; and special friend, Dolly Monson.

Collin is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Ruth; 2nd wife Lois; one brother, Leonard Wahl; stepchildren, Mary, Ernestine & Alfred.

Collin's funeral service will be Monday, December 15, 2025, at 11am in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service of Moorhead. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
