Chris E. Fox

Chris E. Fox, 48, of Glyndon, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 16, 2023, in his home.

Chris Edward Fox was born on June 18, 1975, to his parents Gerald and Sandra (Glaser) Fox, in Sioux City, IA. In grade school Chris and his family moved to Wahpeton, ND. He went to school in Wahpeton and graduated from Wahpeton Senior High School in 1993. It was in high school that Chris met Tyna Rau. The two dated off and on during high school. In 2000, the two were drawn back to each other. On August 29, 2009, Chris and Tyna were united in marriage.  Together they made their home in Glyndon and raised three children.

Chris had a love for music. He played guitar and taught guitar lessons to others. He had a huge collection of guitars. He was a great cook, making everything from sloppy joe’s to Thanksgiving dinner. He enjoyed activities like camping and bonfires with family and friends. His friends were family, and his family was everything to him. Chris was a selfless person that would give you the shirt off his back. He also had a great sense of humor and was extremely sarcastic.

Chris is survived by his wife, Tyna; children, Jasmyn Fox and Kailyn Fox; stepson, Myka Webber; mother, Sandy Fox; sister Amy Fox; and childhood friend, Chris DeCouteau. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Margaret Glaser; father-in-law, Leon Rau; and mother-in-law, Caryl Penner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 2 PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Chris' Memorial Service will be livestreamed. You can view the livestream here on his obituary page.
