Carole Rasmussen, 67, of Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, Sanford Palliative Care in Fargo.
Carole Johnson was born October 20, 1947, the daughter of Carl and Inger (Johnson) Johnson, in Moorhead. She was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1965. She then attended Moorhead State University.
Carole was united in marriage to Roland LeBlanc at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead. She made her home in Moorhead where she worked at St. Ansgar Hospital and later for Osland Chemical for fifteen years.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Carole was a very giving, caring and helpful lady with a very strong faith in God. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and attending to her plants.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Laaouina, Moorhead; and mother, Inger Cooper, Moorhead.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl; special friend, Daniel McKay; and adored pets, Skipper and Casey.
The family would like to thank Sanford Palliative Care, Dr. Ladwig and Allissa Hoban, N.P. for their wonderful care and a very special thank you to Rhiannon Walstrom and Brian Brogren.
A visitation for Carole will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
Her funeral service will be Friday, November 28, 2014, at 11:00 AM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
She will be buried in Aspeland Lutheran Cemetery, Flom, MN.
