Bryce Rosene, age 76, passed away on December 28, 2025, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
He was born on October 13, 1949, to Hilding Oscar and America (“Merry”) Ruth (Whipple) Rosene in Valley City, ND. Bryce’s early years were shaped by life in several North Dakota communities, including Wimbledon, Fingal, Dickey, Jud, White Earth, Erie, and Valley City. He graduated from Valley City High School in 1967 and went on to attend Valley City State College before transferring to North Dakota State University, where he graduated with a degree in business.
On September 5, 1970, Bryce married Linda Smith. Together they shared a life filled with love and family, raising their children in the West Fargo home they purchased in 1978—a place that anchored their family life for many years. They especially treasured time spent at their lake house on Little Floyd Lake.
Above all else, Bryce was devoted to his family. He regularly spoke of his children and grandchildren with pride and joy. He showed love through action—by offering guidance, being present, and doing the small, thoughtful things that mattered. He enjoyed tending his gardens and plants, valued having something to look forward to on the calendar, and balanced a love of people with an appreciation for quiet time.
Bryce spent much of his working life in the automotive industry, a career that suited both his people skills and his strong sense of integrity. Known for his honesty and adaptability, Bryce believed in meeting people where they were and treating everyone with respect—qualities that earned him trust and lasting professional relationships that often turned into lifelong friendships.
Bryce concluded his career with 18 enjoyable years with HPR Marketing. In retirement, he drove Uber, where his friendly demeanor and genuine interest in people made him a favorite among passengers.
Bryce is survived by his three children: Keri (Todd) Mangis of Minneapolis, MN, Tim Rosene of Moorhead, MN, and Terry (Kimberly) Rosene of Farmington, MN; four grandchildren: Cameron Mangis, Kelsey Mangis, Logan Rosene, and Brennen Rosene; one sister, Shelley Vareberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda, in October 2025; his parents, Hilding and Merry Rosene; and his siblings, Roderick Rosene and Elaine Erdelt.
Bryce Rosene will be remembered for his warmth, integrity, and deep commitment to family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Korsmo Funeral Service in Moorhead, MN, with Pastor Taylor Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
