Beverly J. Bill

Beverly Jean Bill, 92, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Beverly J. Hogenson was born on October 1, 1929, to Ella (Loken) and Clayton Hogenson, in Gary, MN. Beverly grew up and graduated in Twin Valley, MN. After high school Beverly went to Interstate Business College and graduated with a business degree. She worked for the Credit Bureau for six years and Sears, in the credit department, for ten years. She then met the love of her life, Norman Bill.

On July 13, 1963, Beverly married Norman Bill and together they made their home in several places over the years, due to Norman's Air Force career. They lived in Germany, Virginia, and Illinois and raised two children. In 1977, Norman passed away in Illinois. Beverly moved back to Moorhead, closer to family for support.

In her younger years, Beverly loved watching the Minnesota Twins and spending time down at the lakes. She enjoyed reading and traveling as well. Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii. She was a very strong woman who was determined to care for her children and grandchildren. The last ten years, she lived with her son, daughter-in-law and family in their home, where she enjoyed being around family and her cat, Kirby. She loved sitting in the backyard watching the flowers grow and enjoying the sun. She also liked listening to music, watching television or listening to someone read to her.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Ella; husband, Norman; her brother, Wendel; her sister, Gloriann; and many extended family members.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Shelly) and Brenda (Brian) Jones; grandchildren; Andrew, Lauren, Aaron, Christine, and Kathleen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 2 PM in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
