Ashton "Ash" Warne

Ashton “Ash” Warne was born March 6, 2002, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota to Marlan and Teresa (Kritzberger) Warne. When Ash was five, the family moved to Moorhead Minnesota. Ash attended and graduated from Moorhead High School in Moorhead, Minnesota. Ash excelled in basketball, volleyball, track, choir, band, and theater during high school and still holds the triple jump record at Moorhead High.

After high school, Ash attended Full Sail University online and obtained an Audio Arts Certificate. Ash’s true passions were writing music and drawing or painting. Ash aspired to be a music producer.

Ash worked in several restaurants while attending college, including Space Aliens.

Ash was a very caring person who would help anyone in need and accepted everyone for who they were. Ash enjoyed playing guitar, singing, and drawing beautiful artwork. Ash enjoyed traveling with family and friends, from New York to Alaska. Ash also enjoyed many outside activities, especially anything connected to nature.

Ash passed away unexpectantly Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at home. Family is having a private ceremony to celebrate Ash’s life.

Ash leaves behind parents, Marlan and Teresa; siblings, Lynsey and Jesse; grandparents, Margaret Warne and John and Edith Kritzberger; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Ash was preceded in death by Marlan Warne Sr., a grandfather.
