Andrea A. Fandrich

Andrea A. Fandrich, 66, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on February 9, 2026, at Traverse Care Center in Wheaton, MN.

Born on July 26, 1959, in Carrington, ND, Andrea was embraced by the loving family of Daniel and Dorothy (Venard) Fandrich. Growing up in Moorhead, she graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1977. During her youth, she was actively involved with Campfire Girls, achieving numerous awards.

Continuing her education, Andrea attended Moorhead State University, where she pursued a degree in Psychology. Following her graduation, she dedicated many years of service at Target and Friendship Home.

In 1993, Andrea met Rick Corey, and they formed a deep bond that lasted over 30 years. Together, they cherished memorable adventures, exploring National Parks and visiting family across the United States, always by each other’s side.

A talented craftsperson, Andrea had a passion for creating beautiful items and a special love for cats. Her humble and caring nature endeared her to everyone who knew her.

Andrea will be remembered and missed by her companion and best friend, Rick Corey; one sister, Willa-Jean (Ronald) Zayic of Ogema, MN; one brother, Blain (Jan) Fandrich of Billings, MT; nieces and nephews, Travis (Julia) Johnson of St. Paul, MN, Garret (Oana) Zayic of Chaska, MN, Megan Zayic of Horace, ND, and Myles (Elizabeth) Zayic of Rochester; she is also survived by four great-nieces and two great newphews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Craig Fandrich.

The Memorial Service for Andrea will be on Friday, March 27, at 11 AM, at Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.
