Alice D. Frankhauser, 92, West Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in Kinder Care Assisted Living, West Fargo.
Alice Delores Oster was born September 8, 1928, on the family farm in Anamoose, ND, one of six children to Louie and Katie (Schwaderer) Oster. On September 8, 1946, Alice was united in marriage to Joseph Frankhauser. They spent much of their married life in Fergus Falls, MN, and West Fargo, ND.
Alice worked as a nurse's aide at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls and later St. Lukes/Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Her calling in life was to be a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and caregiver. She shared her caring nature in helping those who were sick. Our Mom would pray with many of the people she cared for and would assist in leading them in prayer, asking Jesus into their life. This was also the home our parents created; a home centered around Jesus.
Alice is survived by her three children, Curtis (Kathy) Frankhauser, Fargo, ND, Jefferey (Kandy) Frankhauser of Bismarck, ND, and Renee (Samuel) Previti of Orlando, FL. In addition she is survived by her seven grandchildren, Steven (fiancé Sherri) Frankhauser, Joy (Mark) Raven, Nicole (Joe) Larson, Kelly (Shane) Dettman, Anthony Frankhauser, Nathan (Taylor) Previti, and Joseph (Loren) Previti; 11 great-grandchildren; Alexis (fiancé Chad) Frankhauser, Baylee (Joe) Schuch, Casey Frankhauser, Abbigail Frankhauser, Caleb Raven, Samuel Larson, Charley Larson, Gracie Larson, Zion Dettman, Isabella Dettman and Max Dettman and one brother, Bud Oster of Washington.
Alice was welcomed to her eternal home by her parents; her husband, Joseph; and siblings, Leonard, Violet, Lillian and Robert.
Memorial service for Alice will be held Monday, September 28, 2020 at 4pm in Korsmo Funeral Chapel in Moorhead, MN. Alice will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.
