Aaron Geyer

October 28, 1972 — April 21, 2023

Casselton

Aaron Drew Geyer was born October 28, 1972, to Drew and Joan (Terhark) Geyer in Fargo ND.  He passed away in his home unexpectedly, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 50.  At the time of his death, he was working on getting on the heart and lung transplant list.

Aaron got his GED from Woodrow Wilson in Fargo, graduating at the top of his class.  He worked different jobs, but always enjoyed working at Thorsteinson and Sons Construction.  Aaron was a kind, caring, generous man who loved his family with all his heart.  He was the kind of guy who would do anything for you, always lending a helping hand if needed.

He loved going to the family cabin on Lake Melissa.  He knew where all the hot spots were to catch the fish.  He was a master at grilling and enjoyed making wonderful feasts for the family.  Aaron was always on top of all the newest released movies.  His favorites were action movies.  He was a dad to Apollo, his dog whom he loved immensely.  They had a special bond.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Drew Geyer, in 2019.

He is survived by his mother, Joan Geyer; and his sister, Nicole Geyer.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 5 – 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead, MN.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date as Aaron would want family and friends to be together celebrating his life, not his death, with the scattering of his ashes at the old family cabin on Lake Melissa.
