Raymond Rerick

Raymond "Ray" Thomas Rerick, 87, Moorhead, MN, passed away in his home Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Ray was born August 8, 1930, to Jacob and Agnes (Eisenzimmer) Rerick in Grand Forks, ND, where he was raised. He graduated from the Academy of St. James in Grand Forks. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Ray was united in marriage to Marie Adkins on August 18, 1951, in Grand Forks, where they made their home until moving to Sioux Falls, SD, in 1973. They then moved to Moorhead in 1975. Ray worked for Allied Van Lines for 42 years.
Ray is survived by one brother, Ed Rerick, Grand Forks; five sons, Scott (Lynn), Ashley, ND, Greg (Dianne), Sioux Falls, Matt (Misty), Moorhead, Pat(Lisa), Moorhead, and Steve, Moorhead; five daughters, Jan Anderson, Cathy (Len) Dose, Julie (Mike) Kautz, all from Sioux Falls, Jo (Scott) Rohr, Alexandria, MN, and Terry Free, Moorhead; 28 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Marie in 2004, and many relatives.
Visitation will be 5 PM - 7 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2018, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 26, 2018, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks, in the spring.
