Melvin "Doug" Ishaug

Melvin Douglas "Doug" Ishaug, age 83, of rural Moorhead, MN, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Doug was born August 6, 1937, to Melvin and Nora (Stephenson) Ishaug, of Barnesville, MN. Doug was a plumber by trade and worked for Moorhead Plumbing and Heating for many years. Eventually he became more of an entrepreneur and opened his own auto body shop.
Doug is survived by his daughter, Julie (Scott) Orman, St Paul, MN; his sons, Steve (Denise) Ishaug, Moorhead and Tony (Jen) Ishaug, Orono, MN; his grandchildren, Nate and Max Orman, St. Paul, Cassie and Abbie Ishaug, Moorhead, Danielle Sailer, St Paul, and Nicholas, Rachel, and Ashley Ishaug, Orono; his brothers, Ordean (Maureen) Ishaug of La Grange, IL, and Bob (Betty) Ishaug of Barnesville; and numerous loving and loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Jerry; his parents; his brothers Percy Ishaug, Harley Ishaug and Virgil Ishaug; and his sister, Shirley Irey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
