Kim Morris Kinslow, 70, Strawberry Lake, MN, died Saturday, February 13, 2021, in his home.

Kim was born July 17, 1950 in Moorhead, MN, to Thurman and Marlyce (Sather) Kinslow. He attended school at Fargo South High. Kim was united in marriage to Debra Spieker on November 29, 1969.
For over 25 years, Kim worked for Mid America Steel as a structural foreman. In 1995, Kim enrolled at Detroit Lakes Technical College and pursued his love for marine mechanics. He earned his degree in marine tech and accepted a job with Moorhead Marine. He owned a marine mechanic business and later worked for Crystal-Pierz Marine in Fargo.

In 2005, Kim and Debra moved to Strawberry Lake, near Ogema, MN. Always wanting to stay active, Kim stayed busy as a rural mail carrier for the Ogema Post Office and was employed with White Earth Health System.
Kim loved living on Strawberry Lake, which allowed him to pursue his passion for fishing. Over the years, he fished many walleye tournaments with his sons through FM Walleyes. He enjoyed spending time hunting with his boys and seeing his grandchildren whenever possible.

Kim will be remembered and missed by his wife of 50 years, Debra; their three sons, Donovan (Tina) Kinslow, Jamie (Lisa) Kinslow and Ryan (Judy) Kinslow; eight grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor, Jordan, Mariya, Kayla, Brekken, Tallon and Yasmine; two great-grandchildren, Madilynn and Lincoln. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Marlyce Newton Sather; and siblings, David (Deb) Sather, Nancy (Al) Soberg, Lorraine Barsness, Dennis Jr. (Tanya) Sather, and Mary Pearson; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Thurman; and step-father, Dennis Sather.

A public visitation will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021, from 1PM-3PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. A private celebration of life will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 with livestreaming starting at 11AM.

In accordance with CDC and local guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required for attendance on Sunday.
