O. Harold Holm, Moorhead, MN, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at Innovis Health, Fargo, ND, at the age of 85.
Obert Harold Holm was born July 24, 1918, near Halstad, MN, to Clarence and Ida (Aalgaard) Holm. Harold was baptized and confirmed at Augustana Lutheran Church, rural Halstad. He attended Foss School, also rural Halstad.
Harold was united in marriage to Alma M. Johnson, daughter of George and Olga (Engen) Johnson, November 25, 1939, in Shelly, MN. They had one daughter, Karen.
Harold worked for Wiese Equipment, Halstad, hauled milk for Shelly Creamery, and drove a school bus for Halstad High School. In 1953, he started working for Anderson Pontiac in Moorhead. He retired in 1980 after 27 years. He as a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead, Teamster's Local #116, Fargo, and the Kringen Lodge #25 of the Sons of Norway, Fargo.
Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alma, Moorhead; daughter Karen (Gary) Justus, Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Andrea (Matt) Arens and Matthew (Carolyn) Justus, both of Columbus, OH; two great- grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Arens; one sister, Muriel Meland, Grand Forks, ND; and one brother, Lowell (Carol) Holm, Fargo.
