Gary Lester McEvers was born July 14, 1944, in Fargo, ND, to Lester and Lillian (Hegge) McEvers. Gary was raised in the Baker, MN, area and graduated from Barnesville (MN) High School in 1962.
Gary entered the US Army in August of 1965 and served until July of 1967. He eventually returned to live in Moorhead, MN. Gary died Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in his home under hospice care.
Gary is survived by his brother, Randy (Donna) McEvers, Sabin, MN; sister, A.J. (Larry) Dahlstrom, Fargo; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Allen.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon, with a memorial service at 1 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2019, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Interment will be in the columbarium at Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin.
