Donna Feken

Donna Bernice Feken was born April 4, 1947, to Phillip and Dorothy (Green) Myhra, in Fargo, ND. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin, MN, where she was baptized and confirmed. She graduated from Marshall (MN) High School in 1965.

Donna began work at Northwestern Bell, as a telephone operator, at sixteen years of age, in Fargo, ND. She was working in Omaha, NE, when she retired from management, after thirty-five years of service.

Donna died peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, in her home in Moorhead, MN, under the care of her family and Hospice of the Red River Valley, at the age of 70.

Donna was a lover of antiques and was a wonderful cook and decorator. She loved to entertain at the holidays for her family. Donna was a devoted sister and loving friend. She had a warm personality and was loved by all who knew her.

Donna is survived by her sister, Dana Funk, Marshall, MN; brother, Phillip Myhra Jr., Dallas, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister, Doreen Lillestrand.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice of the Red River Valley for the loving care provided Donna. A special thank-you to cousins, Kathy Martinson, Shirley Ueland, and Cheryl Peterson for their compassionate care as well.

Visitation and a lunch will begin at 1 PM, followed by a funeral at 2 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2017, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. A reception and lunch will follow the funeral.

Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
