Dolores "Dee" Kruger

Dolores "Dee" Kruger, 82, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.
Dolores Marjorie Mondt was born January 21, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Myrna (Buffington) Mondt. She was raised in Dent, MN, and graduated from Perham (MN) High School.
In the early 1960s, Dee moved to Moorhead and worked at Moorhead State University for thirty years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family's place on Dead Lake. Dee will be remembered for her wit and wild sense of humor.
Dee is survived by her life partner of forty-three years, Leo Hochstetler; daughters, Debora (Tom) Ellenson, Michelle (G.F.) Hummel, and Cindy (Chad) Cole-Softing; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Nancy) Mondt and Steven (Sharon) Mondt; sisters, Janet (Mike) Scamp and Judy (Dean) Freeman; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Karen, Stanley and Joseph.
A Gathering of Friends for Dee will be one hour prior to her service.
A Celebration of Dee's Life will be Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 3:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dent, MN.
