Betty Elofson

Betty Elofson, 89, Fargo, ND, died Friday, May 29, 2015 in Manorcare Health Services, Fargo.
Betty Lorraine Swapp was born January 12, 1926 in Enderlin, ND. She moved with her family to Fargo, and later to Audubon, MN.
On June 2, 1946, Betty married Julian Oscar Elofson. They lived in Sheldon, ND, and returned to Fargo, where Betty worked at the Townhouse Motor Lodge and for Film Service Corp.
Her husband, Julian, died in 1970. Betty was also preceded in death by a son, Myron; her parents, William and Adeline Swapp; three sisters, Doris, Marion and Mavis; and two brothers, Ervin and Bob.
Betty is survived by her children, Sharon Hanson and Duane Elofson, both Fargo; five grandchildren, Jayme, Michael, Terri, David, and Rachel; and five great-grandchildren, including Eliana, Jacob, Zachary and Meron.
Funeral service for Betty Elofson will be Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 1 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral.
