An update on COVID-19
To our community-
Honoring and remembering a life is our service. Public health and safety will be our primary concern for those we serve. As of June 10, 2020, new direction from Governor Walz, states indoor settings, occupancy must not exceed 50 percent of the normal occupant capacity as determined by the fire marshal, with a maximum of 250 people in a single self-contained space and outdoor settings, gatherings must not exceed 250 individuals. Our area churches are working hard in setting their allowed capacities as we move forward.
While cleanliness is something we take pride in, we are taking additional measures to ensure the public’s safety at our funeral home. At need arrangements can still be done in person however conference calls and computer programs such as Skype and Zoom will continue to be utilized as requested. Funeral and Memorial services can be live- streamed or recorded for future viewing on our website at no additional cost. As we adhere to the social distance requirements, our facility can fit 65 people between our chapel, overflow section and lobby.
To offer condolences from home, please continue to visit our website at www.korsmofuneralservice.com to sign the family guestbook, send a note of support or an item from our sympathy store. All sympathy cards sent to the funeral home will be promptly forwarded to the family. These are all wonderful ways to stay in touch but from comfort and safety of your home.
Let’s continue to uplift our health professionals as they diligently prepare our medical facilities and personnel to respond when they are called to serve. We are thankful for each and every one on the front lines and we are here to support them any way we can.
As always, we are available 24/7 at 218-233-1533.
Blessings to you all-
The Staff of Korsmo Funeral Service
