Randall "Randy" Lemar

Randall "Randy" M. Lemar, 49, of El Paso, TX, formerly of Fargo, ND, died Monday, March 9, 2015, in Sanford Health, Fargo surrounded by his loving family.
Randall Mark Lemar was born April 20, 1965, the son of Ralph and Donna (Marsaa) Lemar in Grand Forks, ND. The family moved to Illinois in 1969 where Randy attended elementary school. In 1976, they moved to Minnesota where he attended St. Francis Grade School and Shanley High School. During high school he participated in music (The Sandpebbles) and sports, with the glorious highlight being Shanley's 1983 State Football Championship Title.
After graduating with the Class of 1984, Randy attended Marion Alabama Military Institute and then graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1989. He was accepted into the United States Marines Corps Officer Candidates School and proudly served as a logistics officer. In 1994, he began his 20-year career with Union Pacific Railroad.
Randy will be deeply missed by his sons, Kelby, Moorhead, MN, and Justin, Phoenix, AZ; parents, Ralph and Donna Lemar, Fargo; siblings, James (Martha), Omaha, NE, Carmen, Fargo, and Corrina, Minneapolis, MN; and six nieces and nephews.
He was welcomed into heaven by grandparents, Matthew and Josephine Lemar and Richard and Lillian Marsaa.
A Visitation for Randy will be Sunday from 5 PM until 7 PM, with a 7 PM Prayer Service in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.
His Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 16, 2015, at 11 AM in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery South, Fargo, ND.
