Quentin Israelson

December 25, 1918 — April 14, 2015

Quentin H. Israelson, 96, Moorhead, MN, formerly of Wolverton, MN, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead, surrounded by his family.
Quentin was born in Christine, ND, to Frank and Gustava (Foss) Israelson on Christmas day 1918. He spent his life farming in the Christine and Wolverton area. On June 28, 1947, he married Marion J. Knutson. They lived on the farm northeast of Wolverton, where they raised their family. In 2000, the couple moved into Wolverton to live, and in 2011, they moved into Moorhead, where Quentin became a resident of Eventide on Eighth.
Quentin is survived by his wife, Marion, Moorhead; daughter, Barbara (Larry) Conklin, Pelican Rapids, MN, grandsons, Quentin (Kathy) Conklin and their sons, Brice and Tyler (Madison) Conklin, and great-great-granddaughter, Scarlett, and Luke (Tracy) Conklin, and their son, Bram; son, Frank Israelson of Wolverton; son, David (Lynn) Israelson, of Wolverton, their children, Grant Israelson, Ryan Babb, and Lindsay Babb, her fiancé, Chris Paulson; and many nieces and nephews.
Quentin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest, Roy and Virgil Israelson; and sisters, Rhoda Lakness and Agnes Cline.
The family extends a special thank you to all of the staff at Eventide on Eighth in Moorhead.
A memorial service for Quentin will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 2 PM in Faith Lutheran Church, Wolverton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at church.
