Martha Janzen

July 29, 1942 — December 19, 2014

Martha Frances Janzen, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, of Fargo, ND, passed away December 19, 2014, from cancer in her daughter's home in Golden Valley, MN.

Martha was born in Savannah, GA, on July 29, 1942. She grew up in Stillmore, GA, and attended college at Georgia Southern. Martha was married to Ed Janzen on June 12, 1966.
Martha was a passionate and tireless volunteer at her children's schools and her church. Despite health issues, Martha appreciated her blessings in life and generously cared for others through her compassion and friendship. Martha was a woman of strong faith, proud of her role as a mother and grandmother, and shared her Southern charm throughout her life.

Martha is survived by her husband, Ed Janzen; stepmother, Thelma Johnson; daughter, Jinjer and son-in-law, Mark Menge; son, Daron Janzen and daughter-in-law, Monica; and grandchildren Sam, Victoria, Will, Ivy, and Ruby. Martha will be sorely missed and we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Martha's family would like to thank all of their relatives, friends, and healthcare/Hospice teams who have supported us throughout this time.

A visitation for Martha will be one hour prior to her funeral service.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 1:00 PM in Valley Christian Church, Moorhead, MN.

Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
