Henry Lay

Henry Lay, 87, of Moorhead, MN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday,
November 26, 2017, at Banner Hospital in Mesa, AZ.
He was born in Mississippi on January 30, 1930, and lived there until he enlisted in the Marine Corps.
Henry worked as a pipeline welder until taking a permanent job with NSP (Excel Energy) in Fargo, ND, retiring in 1991. Henry and Marian enjoyed many years as snowbirds in Arizona. He enjoyed his hobby of woodworking.
Preceding him in death were his brother, Keith; and daughter, Bonnie (Steve) Melquist. Henry is survived by his wife, Marian; daughter Carolyn (Joel) Adamson; grandchildren, Heidi (Chris) Barton, Matthew (Amy) Adamson, Amanda Melquist and Beth (Bryant) Olson; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Brookdale Baptist Church, Moorhead, MN on Monday, December 4, 2017, at 1:30 PM
