Frank Parsons

Franklin E. Parsons, 74, of Fargo, ND, was received in Heaven on July 20, 2016, with his wife by his side.

Franklin Eugene Parsons was born August 14, 1941, to Roy and Ida Parsons, in Gillett Grove, Iowa. He married the love of his life, Norma Jean Hovde, on September 9, 1961. They were blessed with four sons, Timothy, Jon, Mark, and Steve.

Frank graduated from Gillett Grove HS in 1959 and graduated from Hanson Mechanical Trade School in 1960. He started his career at Ziener's Station and then Muscatell Chevrolet for 22 years. He opened Frank's Auto Repair in 1983, working and involved until his passing.

He loved working, spending time with his family, relaxing at the lake, making people laugh, cars, country music, and professional wrestling.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Norma Jean; sons, Timothy (Jill) Parsons, Jon (Linda) Parsons, Mark (Barb) Parsons, and Steve (Laurie Janssen) Parsons; sisters, Ruth Wilson and Marjorie (Sam) Kirtley; eight grandchildren, Zachary (Ashley) Parsons, Joshua Parsons, Jacob (Megan) Bond-Parsons, Justin (Jen) Parsons, David (Micaela) Parsons, Breanna Parsons, Hannah Parsons, and Nicole Parsons; three great-grandchildren, James Bond-Parsons, Mckenna Parsons, and Caleb Parsons; eleven nieces and seven nephews.


A visitation for Frank will be Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with an 8 PM Prayer Service in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

His Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 11:00 AM, in Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
