Your dad worked with my dad, Hank Fahrlander in the road construction business years ago. I rememeber your mom and the Lou & Elmer Winter's family from Dilworth, Bud & Opal Wright, the Stalboegers, Ingvald Moen and Harold Lien. Sy came to the visitation for my dad three years ago and my sisters and I were so happy to see him. He was always such a happy man. You will miss him, as will many others. We were shocked to hear of Sy's passing. I have had the honor of knowing Sy through the Moorhead KC's for the past 8 years or so. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to offer help when needed. He would always take time to visit and speak his one-liners which always brought a smile. His best were on never to bring home "left-overs" ,buy green bananas, or order a 3-minute egg. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

We would like to extend our sincere sympathy to your family. Russ is the golf pro out at village green golf course, and I work there part- time. Every day I worked I looked forward to Sy stopping by about 8am to say hi, AFTER his round. He was such an icon at village green, and we cannot tell you how much he will be missed. He never had a complaint, always had a a smile on his face and was one of the kindest people we have ever met. We hope to plant a tree in his honor at the golf course.
