Sorry I wasn't able to attend Stan's funeral. Just wanted to let you know that our thoughts are with your family. When Stan was working for Tri-State he would stop at the Country Hearth restaurant in Hillsboro once in a while and I would get a chance to see him. He always asked about my brother, Jim, and our family and we would catch up a little on the Barnums. It was always fun to see him.

There are so many things that drew people to him. He would make you laugh or smile during the most difficult moments. Stan had a unique and charming sense of humor and a huge heart. Message:
My condolences to the Barnum family. I was really shocked when my mother told me that Stan had passed away. I am especially glad that I was able to talk to Stan at our Class Reunion. I have a lot of good memories of "Barney". He and I had gone our different ways, so most of those memories date back to the 70's. We had some great and memorable times together. I will never forget his quick wit and one liners. He was a good friend.
